i have been trying to buy a hemmed, mid thigh pair of denim shorts. i keep having ,to send them back because while the website pictures show the width fairly tight around the model's thighs, when they arrive you could get two legs in each side! they are like wearing flags. these 501s are perfect. fairly expensive but worth the money. they look great on, not tight around the leg but exactly right. already had loads of compliments. high waist and buttoned fastening which is really nice. new denim ...i am size 30 waist. the website assistant suggested size 29 waist. i bought 31 to take into account shrinkage of raw denim and definitely made the right decision. love
