It depends what you mean by isolation. It is not waterproof and only has a thin padding in the back area.

Hello. My companion is 1.80 and weighs 70kg, I took size S. The size is very good and the jacket is really superb. Depending on your shoulders I would rather say M the L will be too big

It is a fine, mid-season jacket, it has a thin fabric lining, but it is not a coat.
